He replied to Shubhangi – “ I am sorry but not sorry …. I don’t like you shubhangi..not even a little bit. To me you are just my colleague. I already love someone else..and she will remain forever in my heart…”

Hearing this Shubhangi got teary eyed .. and her heart broke..but still she gave the softest smile and asked –“Is it Kshitija?”

He got surprised on hearing  this and didn’t utter anything.

Behind the tree Kshitija was also waiting for his reply.. but he never said anything ..

Shubhangi gave one last smile and said- “it’s ok if you don’t love me..i still don’t regret confessing to you because I would have regretted it more ,  if I would have not confessed my love. I hope you get your love and complete your love story. Goodnight.” And she left from there.

After she left .. he still kept standing there staring at the lake when he again heard footsteps.

When he turned he saw Kshitija standing there..with teary eyes ..

He got panicked on seeing her tears and immediately went and hugged her. She reciprocated his hug and asked..- “Mayank do you love me?”
